How To Feel Rich

There is something about wearing a robe that makes you feel like a
million dollars.  It makes me feel like saying--
"Give me what I want because I must
be rich since I'm wearing a robe!"

Jake and I went on a "SPONTANEOUS" trip to Hilton Head
as one of our Christmas gifts from my special parents!

It was the most AMAZING trip.  We were totally kid-less for what seemed
like the first time in forever. (Thank you Claire and Jason)

We stayed in a gorgeous and atmospheric
Inn:
You know you're living the high life when you have fancy naked
statues in the pool area:
Then we combed the island shore in search of treasure to become more rich:
( I don't really know what that meant but I just wanted
to use the word "rich" again)
Then we felt uber-rich when we threw caution
to the wind and treated ourselves to the most
AMAZING, SUCCULENT, EXPENSIVE
dinner we've ever had at:
Yeah, we were rich.
But now we're even more poor...

And we don't regret a minute of it!

Oh Emily! You and Jake deserve it!!! That sounds awesome.

Figure out that there's a girl on our ward that knows you . . . from Jerusalem. . Inger. Don't know her maiden name. . . she remembered you as being very energetic. :)

Those little kid-less getaways the the BEST. Once you start, you begin wanting them more and more frequently. Glad you got away. And you definitely have to splurge on a fancy dinner occasionally. I guess I know what to get you for Christmas next time I have your name--a bathrobe! Okay. done. I call the Hutchings next Christmas!

Sometimes you have to splurge and just pay for it later. That's living. :)

Looks like a fun time! I'm glad you guys could have some time together without your kiddos! P.S. you crack me up with the "rich" talk.

So glad that you were able to get away and enjoy being a couple! Think of the dinner as an investment - you get to cherish the memories forever!
