Christmas: During

Christmas, 2011, continued...
The Christmas Eve party.  We went with the Tasker's to their friends home, the Allen's, and had a scrumptious buffet and acted out the scripture story.

The kids left cookies and hot chocolate for Santa.
We can't wait for tomorrow morning!

Luke, trying hard to be grumpy!
We had to wait until after church to open presents, but we let the boys attack their stockings.

Santa ate all the cookies, drank all the hot chocolate, and even had time to leave a note!

Finally, we get to open presents!
Santa brought a new train table!
All of the boys got a scripture bag with a Book of Mormon and CTR bookmarks.
 Mom got a mouse pad!
Dad got a sign-up for a sprint triathalon!
Mom also got a hat and a breadmaker, among other things!
Grammy and Grampa sent us money for a new vacuum, and the boys money for bowling.  We LOVE making memories!

Santa also brought the boys a homemade, I mean North Pole made, marble shooter!
The boys got wooden guns, a quiet book, and some moolah for the dollar store from Gma Becky and Poppy.
Jake got a year of pre-planned dates from Emily.
Whew!  I am tired just re-capping that.  We had a fabulous Christmas and it was so fun to share it with Gma, Poppy, the Tasker's, and Uncle Jacob....next we are off to Colorado to visit the Hutchings' relations!

Christmas: Before, During, and After

I LOVE Christmas so, so much!  I love the feeling in the air, all of the different Santa's, the food, the family...oh, it's so fun!  Here is our before, during, and after!

Before:

 At the Festival of Trees
 So nice to have snow!
We have an awesome place where you can go for free, and really cute, Christmas fun!
Hands down the cutest Mr and Mrs Claus

At our ward party...Cooper very cleverly noticed that Santa must really like shoes since he changed from cowboy boots to black boots in the same day!

 Stick on's from Grandma Becky!
The family arrives and the 2nd annual gingerbread house competition begins!

Hot glue is how we roll!

My absolute fave part: Cooper did this all by himself.  The gingerbread man roasting a marshmallow!  I love it!
The stockings waiting to be filled!
Okay, just kidding, that was just a teaser....more to come!
